Studying Abroad

As an expat, you would definitely want to spend your expatriate days more productively. How about enrolling yourself in a study program abroad? This will help you in developing international skills that are much desired in global organizations these days. If you are venturing out as an expat for a few years, studying abroad can usher in a wealth of career options. However, choosing the right educational programs based on your interests and skills is important. You can choose an MBA or an advanced degree, which is accredited by a reputed educational body, especially if you want to continue living and working in a foreign land.

Teaching Abroad

It is quite trendy to be a digital nomad, but if you love working with young people or are interested in staying in an overseas destination for more than a year, teaching can be a great option. The two different ways to teach abroad include teaching ESL or EFL (English as a Second Language or English as a Foreign Language) and teaching in an international school. Usually, ESL or EFL teachers should have a university degree and fluency in English.

If you want to teach in an international school, you will need a specialized degree/certificate that permits you to teach in various public elementary or secondary schools in your own native country. Countries like China, Thailand, and Singapore offer very lucrative teaching opportunities if you are an English language expert with the required qualifications.
